Highest conventions and principles

1. Help to long-term self-help

Through comprehensive and project-specific measures of support for vulnerable children in Africa, BRAVEAURORA wants to offer these children new perspectives for the future leading to social re-integration on the local level. BRAVEAURORA hopes to influence individual fates in a positive and sustainable way and contribute to the socio-structural development of Africa. BRAVEAURORA is committed to the principle of long-term self-help.

2. Principle of transparency

BRAVEAURORA is conducting its activities as transparently as possible and offers to its donors and sponsors the possibility to track the direct influence/effect of their donations. All investments taken by BRAVEAURORA are based on this principle of transparency. BRAVEAURORA has a small, flexible leadership-team which can take and implement decisions quickly. All travel-costs are shouldered by the organs of the association, except there is an earmarked donation for travel-purposes. BRAVEAURORA is subjecting itself voluntarily to a high standard of absolute transparency regarding costs.

3. Principle of sustainability

BRAVEAURORA takes every investment on the basis of a positive response to three questions. The questions deal with commitment, responsibility and shaping of the future and constitute the cornerstone for BRAVEAURORA to implement projects/enterprises responsibly and to invest in a sustainable way in accordance with the principles of the association.

The 3 BRAVEAURORA questions of our principle of sustainability

  1. Is our idea „convincing“?
  2. Is our idea „responsibly“?
  3. Is our idea „shaping the future“?

BRAVEAURORAs long-term goal is to conduct sustainable development outside of the „microcosm orphanage“ and to shape the future in a positive way together with the local population. Through various community-measures (e.g. Education, Networking, Knowledge-Transfer), the future can be shaped and in the long-term, the number of orphans in the local surrounding can stabilise.
